The Dr. Malachi Kobina York Foundation is an organization that finances educational support to african children who are orphans or disabled such as the blind, deaf, or autistic. The foundation has branches in Ghana, Gambia, and Liberia. The organization has helped and was grown out of the African–American & West African Educational Endowment & Humanitarian Foundation founded principally in 2000 by Rev. Dr. Malachi Z. York

The Dr. Malachi Kobina York Foundation was established in 2005 to continue the great works of H.E. Dr. Malachi Z. K. York, the philanthropic drive and humanitarian assistance of providing clothing, shoes, school supplies, food and other needs of various schools  and institutions form under privileged West African families and orphanage particularly in Ghana and Liberia, and other countries and villages in the region. This international non-profit foundation is now established in Monrovia, Liberia and is making its way to Senegal and Gambia.
