  7. INDIA; LEARN FROM NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS. THEY WERE SMARTER THAN US TODAY. MAKE CLAY CANALS, GROW TREES TO SHELTER CROPS THAT USE LITTLE WATER, PALM TREES, MEXICAN PALM IS EXCELLENT. NO WATER. HUGE TREE GROWS VERY FAST. PUT CLAY LAYER UNDER SOIL TO RETAIN MOISTURE, WATER. NO GMO CROPS. THEY YIELD VERY LITTLE. KILL THE SOIL.

  8. This post is from a Senior Matron at a Top Cape Town Hospital.   No provision has been made for collection of water for children.   Identification and registration of residents in South Africa is at less than 40%.   There will be a Cholera outbreak.  Innoculation against Cholera is not a required inoculation under the new "regime".  There will be many deaths of children and the elderly as water will be cut in the townships where the Coloured and Black Population live.   This is going to adversely affect our hospitals which are running at full capacity.   Black and Coloured South African tradition is a full burial by Christian Rights.   Our mortuaries are already full with unclaimed bodies.  The High Fallutin’ Cape Town and Somerset West population pay no attention to the water crisis – elaborate fountains run 24 hours a day.   Our Power Stations require water for the production of electricity – most of which is sold to Zimbabwe.  The power will collapse leading us into what we call "democratic shopping" or looting.  The city will be placed under martial law.  Home owners will abandon their houses and move up north leaving their mortgages unattended.   This is now "NEW NEWS".   Senior Hospital staff have been aware of this looming crisis for in excess of 10 years.   I am personally aware of two companies – Electron SA and Grahamtech who have unfulfilled contracts with the government for water desalination projects.  These projects have been put on "hold" due to "lack of funds" yet Zuma continues spending and changing Finance Ministers on a daily basis.    Our country has been raped by Zuma and his cronies.   Viva the ANC?   We were better off under the apartheid government.  Educated men.  Predujiced Men.  Our Constitution guarantees us the right to life but without water there is no life.   A class action suit against the regime should be filed by the residents of Cape Town.  And yes, in case you are wondering, I am a White South African woman, a grandmother with over 35 years experience working in understaffed, under-equipped hospitals.

  9. The only drought SA has is one of talent of governance. Plan, implement and prosper….instead of voting corrupt, inept savages into power that strip all wealth like a locust.

  10. There’s always that climate change nonsense add-on at the end of every BBC report.
IT WAS ENSO!!!!!!!! NOT CLIMATE CHANGE!
