  1. even in America emergency patients  are more than hospital beds but communication and quick transportation to other healthcare facilities make it easier to accept you.For quality healthcare in sierra leone its a BabySteps and Paopa we will get there

  2. Let us support this government on this initial to help our people. No negative comment. We can do it.

  3. In spite of all the development initiatives that the government is providing, all we keep hearing are nonsense from people who are not interested in progress in Sierra Leone.

  4. Why can’t people be thankful to God for any good thing, instead they always have to say all kinds of negative things. Lord forgive them for they don’t know what they do. People be thankful to God and pray for the president to be successful. Stop this complaining.

  5. Did not the last regime also introduced an affordable health care ( whatever that means)? Is the president and his family going to seek medical attention under this initiative his administration has come with? Don’t just speak on the quality of it, convince us by participating in it when needed. How does the saying go: What’s good for the goose is also good for the garner? I think that’s it.

  6. It is very difficult for any development project to succeed in a country like Sierra Leone where the masses have embraced corruption as a way of life.

  7. Title: Why Religion should also be included as a form of a mental health crisis in Sierra Leone? Did you know religion was once considered an illness?

This year in Kenya, the poorest Whiteman was in Kenya, because of this white savior complex, the people of Kenya lost their minds. This could happen in Sierra Leone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjVgNVf_kKY

Fellow Sierra Leoneans, we all know the story of Noah the drunk, with his three(3) sons who built a boat that could fit and feeds the whole animals. But right now, I want to share with you all the story of “Abraham”.

We all know the story of Abraham and Isaac. Abraham was ordered by God to offer up his only son, and without argument, Abraham took Isaac to the mountaintop, binds him to an altar, and raises his knife, prepared to act as God has commanded him. Last-minute, God sends down an angel to intervene, and Abraham passes God’s test of devotion.

But let be realistic to ourselves, if any of us left our homes and places of worship and saw Abraham on a roof of a building raising his knife, we would, at the very least, call the police and expect the Department of Children and Family Services to take Isaac away from Abraham. We would do so because we do not hear what Abraham hears, do not see what Abraham sees. We all know the truth as those experiences may be.

So, the best we can do is act in accordance with those things that we all see, and that we all hear, such as the rule of law and wrong is wrong. “Nobody can tell you slapping your parents is wrong, you just know that by yourself” or rather corruption is a good thing.

On the 10th of September 2019, I share my story of being born a “premature” child and went through many health crises, but survive where many won’t!! I strongly do advocate improving our healthcare sector because our broken health sector is and has been the greatest killer of our people.

We must name and shame “Fake doctors” and call out India and elsewhere for importing fake drugs into our country. Having a strong healthcare sector will encourage tourism into the country. We must ask Cuba and the Philippines to help train our people to be well train nurses and doctors. These two countries have one of the most effective and well-trained health workers. In 2018, I propose a new law that makes it compulsory for every Sierra Leonean age 16 to serve and be trained 2 years of service to our military. They will be trained to combat emergency outbreaks, whether flooding or disease control. May I also propose we have joint cooperation with Liberia and Guinea to have a one healthcare system. What happens to Libera or Guinea, Sierra Leone being in the middle get infected in the process. If they refuse, we will close our gates immediately if the get affected by any outbreaks.

My Fellow Sierra Leonean family’s, as an ambition Sierra Leonean for president, I cannot sit by and not give my views on this ambitious project, which is the “Plan to Make Quality Healthcare Affordable and Accessible in Sierra Leone”.

As some of the best experts have given their opinion on this matter, such as our elder brother from Sweden and mother from Norway, which both gave a comprehensive assessment of the launching of the health project. Both experts from Sweden and Norway understand this will not be a realistic achievement by 2020 given the broadness in meeting those targets.

The minister from health highlighted that Sierra Leone healthcare sector will catch up with those developing and world-class countries health system. We are not the type of people who forgets too quickly, Finance minister promise to shape the economy within 6 months in government. What we have now is "gron dry".

As another caller pointed out the people of Sierra Leone should receive some form of basic relevant health education, such as “First Aid and CPR training. I can’t agree more, his right on point.

Yes, I would like to commend the president for launching this project openly, so, we the people can critically analyze it opening through discussion.

However, I want the president to know, when he came in government, Sierra Leone health sector must next to nothing. I do not demand of the president to leave the office and the health sector is 110%, but I do believe he can improve it to 35% strong. So, when the KKY for the (NGC) or if the ACC Francis Ben Kaifala, puts his hands up for the president, I will expect the health sector should be at its perk 75% or 82% strong. Since I am destined to be third in line to hold the highest power of office on our land, I shall take the health sector to 110%.

For those who receive this message will say "Amen" Pa Aboy
