Protesters in Sudan Demand Civilian Government

Deputy Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Military Council, Mohamed Hamdan Daqlu, met on Sunday with U.S. Charge d’Affaires in Khartoum Steven Koutsis. The council said in a statement that Daqlu acquainted the U.S. diplomat with the development of situations in the country, the reasons behind the formation of the transitional military council, and the steps made by the council to preserve security and stability in Sudan. VOA’s Zlatica Hoke reports.

  3. Why would they demand a civilian government? Cuz Pacakastans is so great? Because Moldavia went from one of the most beautiful beach resorts and vacation destinations and now looks like downtown Detroit. And no one goes there and they have no tourism. You don’t need a civilian or military government you need an honest government. Someone who works for the people not someone who works to take everything the people have.
