On Monday October 29th. 2018 supporters of Dr. Malachi Z.K. York will gather at the Liberian Embassy in Washington DC on 5201 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20011 from 12pm – 4pm as a part of the #FREEDRYORK movement to show their support to the Republic of Liberia in their continued efforts to have Dr. York repatriated back to his country of naturalization.  Dr York is a naturalized Citizen and Diplomatic Agent appointed in 1999 by former sitting President Charles Taylor according to court records uncovered by David Menjor journalist for the Daily Observer in Liberia.

Dr. Malachi York, also known as Dwight York is the man depicted as a rapist and Child molester in a TV series known as People Magazine Investigates: Cults, The United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors.  He is currently serving a 135-year sentence, the last 10 of which in solitary confinement, in USP Florence ADMAX in Colorado in the United States most secure super maximum prison facility.  The same facility that has been the focus of Prison reform and has been on the losing end of numerous lawsuits for the inhumane treatment and the violation of human rights of prisoners.  Dr. York was convicted in 2004, but not of rape or Child Molestation, but for Racketeering charges that consist of Conspiracy to Transport Minors in Interstate Commerce for Unlawful Sexual Activity with Minors; in other words the MAN ACT which is the same racially motivated charge used to target African Americans in the 1900’s, and which Boxing legend Jack Johnson was just given a posthumous pardon or Clemency for.   And lastly Conspiracy to Structure Cash Transactions to Evade Currency Transactions Reporting Requirements or structuring money.

These are charges that Dr. York and his supporters have continued to maintain his innocence about, in fact there have been several recantations of alleged victims including on January 16th, 2004 five women that Dr. York was charged with molesting testified that he never touched them sexually and three of the five women testified that federal agents tried to pressure them into saying York molested them after the FBI raided the Georgia address according to a January 16th 2004 article by the Associated Press.

Dr. Malachi Z.K. York, Born on June 26th, 1945, is an author that through his literature has been an advocate for the Human Rights of Africans in America and Africans through-out the diaspora since the onset of his mission which started in Brooklyn NY in 1967.  Dr. York Books are close to 1000 in number written to date on Anthropology, History, Theology, and self-determination; and has influenced the likes of Jay-Z, Music Soul Child, Andre 3000, India Arie, Prodigy, Nas, and many more prominent people.

In 1999 Dr. York was Naturalized as a Liberian Citizen and later appointed to the Post of Consul General as a Diplomatic agent for the Republic of Liberia.  In 2004 a Judgement in the 6th Circuit Judicial Court in Montserrado County for the Republic of Liberia was entered in on Dr. York;s behalf ordering the Republic of Liberia to repatriate it’s citizen and Diplomatic agent.  On October 29th, 2018 will be a Day of Support for the Republic of Liberia, as we stand with them for what’s right and in accordance with International Law and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations to help be sure to sign the petition on www.freedryork.com and follow us on our social media pages.
