Cultural heritage from Egypt, Ethiopia, and Nigeria added to UNESCO intangible heritage list


The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is wrapping up its 11th annual meeting. It has added cultural items from three African countries to its list of intangible cultural heritage. Aspects of Egyptian, Ethiopian and Nigerian culture will now be afforded greater protection to ensure they’re not lost in a world that is constantly evolving. CCTV’s Coletta Wanjohi has more.
